It’s good practice to empty your spam box on a regular basis. The numbers can quickly run into the hundreds, especially if you’re using a spam blocker.

To see what you’ve accumulated, click on Dashboard at the top of your main menu. This will open a page that shows all your Posts, Pages, Comments and Spam. Select Spam.

Or, click on Comments in the LH menu then click on the word Spam under “Edit Comments”, as shown below.

The spam box shows all the comments you earlier marked as spam. It also includes any comments that were filtered out by Akismet or other spam blocker.

To empty them, click on “Empty Spam”, which has appeared to the right of the options shown above. Do the same for Trash – just empty it.
